They say that ‘love conquers all’, and ‘Hobb Story: Instructions for Arab Love’ certainly overcomes any preconceptions you might harbour about love and romance in the Arab world. The hit show at the 2009 Carthage Theatre Festival, ‘Hobb Story: Instructions for Arab Love’ receives its UK premiere at LIFT 2010 as part of the festival’s ongoing exploration of theatre and culture in the Arab World.

A visually-spectacular and thought-provoking mixture of performance, documentary, sex education and music produced by rising French/Tunisian multimedia group Artistes Producteurs Associes, the testimonies of the young people in ‘Hobb Story: Instructions for Arab Love’ prove that the loves and heartbreaks of growing up are just as joyful and painful no matter where you are in the world.
