Building on the acclaimed projects and exploration work of LIFT Learning over the past 18 years each Creative Learning collaboration has been different because of the individuals involved. In 2007, over 200 people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities collaborated to design, cook and build our award-winning edible city, Eat London. Between 2005 and 2008, another 200 East Londoners worked alongside architects to imagine and design our accessible mobile venue, The Lift. In 2009, Vintage Voices, brought together 40 older residents from Barking and Dagenham to celebrate their love of singing.

Participants can be anyone of any age who wants to gain fresh skills and see the world differently. Artists, in turn, can enhance their own work and produce events that directly reflect the ideas and concerns of the people around them.

LIFT Creative Learning also offers opportunities to develop longer lasting relationships and skills through the Professional Development Opportunities scheme.
