LIFT 2010 is now open – the performances have begun, the first reviews are in, and LIFT’s yellow t-shirt clad volunteers can be spotted around the South Bank and The Mall. So what do people have to say about LIFT 2010 so far?
You may have seen Mark’s interview in the Financial Times, or caught our producer Pete on BBC show E24. Perhaps you follow LIFT blogger Matt Trueman on his blog or twitter, or have already been to a LIFT show.
Here is a selection of LIFT 2010 press coverage, for you to see what we’ve been up to, and what’s coming next:
“like the rest of the bill of London International Festival of Theatre (Lift), this remarkably evocative production is all about the power of performance, not just text. Back for its first citywide festival for nine years, Lift’s highlights include Nevermore; Aftermath and Oxygen... and if any of them is on a par with Food Court, go and see it... Tremendous.”
Dominic Maxwell in The Times, reviewing Food Court (25/06/10)
'...this is experimental theatre at its emotionally and intellectually exhausting best.' Food Court reviewed by Spoonfed (24/06/10)
