Join Us

Here at LIFT we like to get as many people involved in the festival as possible, and there are loads of ways you can do that- whether it involves making a donation, being part of our audiences, volunteering during the festival or coming to work with us here at the LIFT office.

Right now, we have the opportunity for 2 people to join the LIFT team in the run-up to LIFT 2010.  We are now looking for a participation placement, and a social media placement to help us in delivering this year’s festival, so if you are over 16 and interested in pursuing a career in the arts, we’d love to hear from you.

Participation Placement:

Social Media Placement:

  • A high level of computer literacy and familiarity with social media

  • You will be based mainly at our office at Trinity Buoy Wharf, and on site as required during the festival
  • Although the roles are unpaid, a contribution to expenses will be made in the form of a £10 daily gratuity
  • The chosen candidates should be prepared to undergo a CRB check

If you would like more information on either of these roles, feedback from previous volunteers and placements, or to download an application form then visit the Placements page here.

The deadline for applications is 10am on Monday 15th March 2010, and we’ll be holding interviews on the 19th March.

We hope to see you there, but if you don’t feel that either of these placements are quite what you’re looking for, but you still want to be involved in LIFT 2010 don‘t worry- we will shortly be looking for people for a range of short term volunteer positions, so there is still a chance for you to get involved!
