Harmony Olaerts
LIFT Living Archive Placement
Harmony is a full-time MA Applied Drama student at Goldsmiths, University of London. Originally from Los Angeles, she received a BA in Theatre Education from California State University, Fullerton. She is a certified educator of Theatre Arts in the states, and after living in New York for two years she has come to London to continue developing her skills and passion for Theatre Arts Education.
As a theatre practitioner her interest is in helping young people to find their individual artistic voices and guiding them to devise original and relevant pieces of work. As an educator she has a special interest in integrating Theatre Arts across the curriculum and helping other educators to utilise the power of theatre as a learning tool. She is excited to be joining LIFT’s Living Archive project and working with London youths to discover the magic of learning through creative participation.
