Karen Napier
Associate Dean, Advancement, London Business School
Karen was appointed Associate Dean in November 2008 as part of the School’s leadership team, with a major focus over the coming years to take the School through its first ever major comprehensive £100m fundraising campaign.
Before joining the School, Karen was Director of Development at the Southbank Centre and was responsible for the fundraising for the Centre’s £111 million Capital Campaign. The project resulted in the spectacular re-opening of the Royal Festival Hall in 2007.
Karen has previously worked in Development for English National Opera and the Rambert Dance Company.
She is a Trustee for CASE Europe, member of the Ross Group, and is a Fellow of the RSA. Karen also sits on the Board of Trustees of the Hofesh Shechter Company, a highly acclaimed international dance company, which she joined as one of the founding Trustees.
Originally from Yorkshire, she is married to an actor/musician (cello), and the couple have a young daughter.
